Brennen Bliss, the 21-year-old Founder and CEO of PixelCutLabs, a multi-million dollar, award-winning SEO business, was our eleventh guest on The Success Bug Podcast. Brennen has been featured on platforms such as Bloomberg and SpeakerHub, and he has leveraged his transparency philosophy to help PixelCutLabs establish a successful team.

Brennen Bliss: Why You Should Know Him

Brennen has been attracted by the notion of making things since he was a child. At the age of thirteen, he built his first computer (something he thinks is unimpressive, but is). As a “social outsider” growing up, one of the most important things Brennen teaches budding company owners is to be yourself, shamelessly, and to handle your funds aggressively.

His first job was at Kroger, where he immediately realized he would never work for anybody else again. He couldn’t do it, not because he didn’t want to, but because he couldn’t. Brennen Bliss, like many other entrepreneurs, recognized early on that he either had to build his own success or it would never find him.

He became interested in search engine optimization, or SEO, as a result of his habit and skill for construction.

Brennen-Bliss

To put it another way, SEO is the practice of increasing the quality and quantity of search engine traffic to a website or a web page. SEO focuses on unpaid traffic rather than bought or direct traffic. Not only that, but it’s how Brennen founded PixelCutLabs, a multimillion-dollar firm. PixelCutLabs tackles a key pain issue for many new company owners by assisting eCommerce websites in their quest(s) to boost visitors.

You know what to do if you want to read more about Brennen’s extraordinary adventure, the obstacles he encountered along the road, and what he wishes he had known when he first founded PixelCutLabs. The Success Bug Podcast Episode 12 is available for download below.

Quotes to Remember

“In essence, SEO provided me with the potential to earn more money.” I’m not going to sugarcoat it: it was a complete rip-off.”

“When you understand how much labor goes into getting everything in place, it’s intriguing.” When you’re doing the same thing every month, it’s simpler to handle on an ongoing basis.”

“It took at least two years for me to figure out what I was doing.”

“I’m a really open and honest person.” It’s how I manage my business, based on Ray Dalio’s radical transparency approach.”

“My best suggestion is to talk [entrepreneurship] over with someone who’s gone down that road before.”

“Be careful not to overextend yourself.” That’s something I’ve done way too many times. It doesn’t matter whether it’s debt, salary, or service offers. Find a skill that you excel at and master it. From a financial standpoint, don’t put yourself in too much danger. Slowly, efficiently, and profitably expand.”
